Head Airflow 7 Ladies Tennis Racquet

Endorsed by Steffi Graf, the Head Airflow 7 is the most power-oriented option in Head's new Airflow line. Designed to be a "function over fashion" line of racquets, the Airflow series is meant to suit the performance-oriented needs of a female player.

Head's market research suggested that the ideal women's racquet should be lightweight, maneuverable, and ergonomically suited to a woman's hand. All 3 of these key criteria have been addresses in the Airflow series.

The Airflow 7 weighs in at 9.1 oz. strung, with a 115 square inch headsize, and has a very maneuverable swingweight of 265 kg*sq.cm thanks to the standard 27 inch length. The ergonomic handle is thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom to best fit the anatomical structure of a woman's hand, reducing twist and torque for more comfort and less strain on the arm. The result is superior handling and enhanced ball control, especially for the two-handed backhand.

The Airflow 7 retains the use of Flexpoint technology for outstanding control and utilizes Head's new material, Metallix, to add stiffness and power. Metallix is made of a matrix of carbon fibers and a new crystalline metal alloy that is 1000 times smaller than typical metals.
